The roots of Second Providence Baptist Church run deep. Her proud lineage can be traced back before the birth of the United States of America and directly to the world's first Baptist Missionary and America's first Black Baptist Church. We can clearly trace our modest beginning and worship in a brush arbor to the church which stands today.
As Second Providence continues to grow in God's will, we remain mindful that all of our joy, successes and growth (spiritually, physically and financially) are a training ground, preparing us for greater things in His name!
